Nathan Hatch
CEO
Mr. Hatch is responsible for setting corporate strategy and aligning corporate resources to meet that strategy. Together with the C7 executive team, he is focused on delivering world-class colocation, business continuance and virtualization solutions to customers. Previous to joining C7, Mr. Hatch held management positions at Novell, WordPerfect, Caldera, Lineo and Helius.
Mr. Hatch brings more than 20 years of business management experience in both domestic and international markets. Mr. Hatch has a highly developed background in creating, executing and managing complex business plans. He is a hands-on manager with highly developed negotiation skills. These skills along with his experience cultivating strategic business partnerships are hallmarks of his ability to recognize and capitalize on market trends. Mr. Hatch received a Bachelor of Science in business management and a Master of Arts in organizational management degrees from the University of Phoenix.
Wes Swenson
President and COO
Wes is closely involved in setting corporate strategy and aligning corporate resources to meet C7's goals. Wes has over 25 years of experience in the high-tech market. He has held numerous high level executive positions across several disciplines, with both small and large companies, in both the private and public sectors. He has the unique experience of working in both the venture capital industry, and serving as an operational executive. He has been involved in start-ups, turnarounds, and mature companies expanding their market footprint. Wes was selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2006, Top 40 CEO under 40 in 2004, and has received several other accolades both regionally and globally. Over his career Wes has worked as a venture partner for GMG Capital, a managing partner for BlackRock Ventures Utah and held management positions at companies such as NV Philips, SoftCopy, WordPerfect, Novell, Phobos, SonicWall, Cosmebrite, and Forum Systems. He has also served on the Board of Trustees for the Utah Technology Council. Wes holds a BA degree from the University of Utah.
Jeff Swain
Vice President of Sales
With more than 17 years of experience in all aspects of technology sales, Jeff is a proven sales leader with a thorough understanding of direct, major account, and channel sales management. He has lead sales teams that consistently exceed corporate goals. Most recently, Jeff was VP of Sales at ARKONA, a provider of automotive dealership software as a service. At ARKONA, he and his sales team developed single tier and OEM partner channels and successfully grew the company at double and triple-digit rates. Additionally, Jeff managed regional sales managers, systems engineers, and ARKONA's inside sales team, while personally managing relationships with automobile manufacturers. Previously, he was Director of Channel Sales for Legato System's high-availability division. At Legato, Jeff delivered impressive sales results, attaining a software maintenance sales increase of 400% during one sales promotion and increasing overall channel sales by 40% in less than six months. Prior to Legato, Jeff was an award-winning salesman for Informix and Novell, and managed multimillion-dollar accounts in the government sector. Jeff studied Business Management and Psychology at Brigham Young University.
Cory Argyle
Vice President of Finance
Cory is responsible for financial planning, management, and reporting. As a seasoned executive, he brings more than 15 years of financial management and business operations experience. Prior to joining C7 Cory served as the Chief Financial Officer at G Code Ventures, a Utah based venture firm, and as the Chief Financial Officer at Forum Systems, a leading software security company. Prior to that he served as the Corporate Controller for Phobos Corporation, where he was extensively involved in the $280M acquisition to publicly traded SonicWall, Inc. Prior to Phobos, he spent nine years with Novell, serving in various financial related positions, ultimately as the Controller of North America Sales. Cory holds a B.S. degree in Accounting, with an emphasis in Finance from Utah State University.
Jeff Brooks
Vice President of Networks and Facilities
Jeff brings more than 28-years of experience in Information Technology to this position. As the head of Networks and Facilities at C7, Jeff's primary mission is to provide customers with the highest level of network and facilities services possible. He has a strong set of core skills including data center design and operations, process and policy management, customer service management, change management, network and systems design and oversight, project management, and vendor relations. Jeff spent the first 15-years of his IT career working in large Fortune 100 companies (American Express and Safeway Stores) where he excelled in many engineering and operational areas. The following 13-years, he helped establish several startup companies which has given him an understanding and perspective of both large and small customers. With a strong focus on ROI and leadership, Jeff has successfully managed and built IT infrastructure for multiple companies. He has served as the Director of Information Technology at NextPage, Inc. and at WiLife. Inc. Jeff received his education at Utah State University and Utah Valley University.
Erich Pletsch
Vice President of Engineering
Erich is responsible for the engineering of new solutions to customer needs using the latest technologies. Prior to joining C7, Erich was founder and president of TierFour, Inc. which was acquired by C7 Data Centers in 2008. Erich has extensive experience in solving problems through the use of current and emerging information technologies. Additionally, Erich has long-term experience with deployment and management of enterprise WAN and LAN networks and with network security strategy and implementation. He has a BS in business management and finance from Brigham Young University.
Dave Jenkins
Vice President of Market Operations
Dave is responsible for all data center operations including provisioning and support. He is also in charge of marketing programs and business relationships that fuel and drive sales opportunities for C7's sales team. He is qualified for this position having had a broad range of practical sales and marketing experience at ARKONA, Inc., Vinca Corporation, Jostens, Wicat Systems, Inc., and O.C. Tanner. Dave oversaw marketing operations for eight years at ARKONA, Inc. and prior to that managed the multi-million dollar OEM sales relationship with Novell at both Legato and Vinca Corporation. He also spent most of his career selling software and training solutions to many large worldwide corporations including US Air, Northwest Airlines, Martin Marietta, Jet Propulsion Laboratories, large hotels and casinos and 3Com Corporation. He has a BS degree from Utah State University and an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
