Cooling Systems

C7 Data Centers’ cooling system is truly a unique feature of our data center:

• Higher than normal raised floor for unimpeded air flow (36 inches).
• Domed and enclosed cold-aisles to direct and channel the cooled air and prevent the warm air from circulating back into the hardware.
• Blanking panels within the racks to ensure the cold air goes through the hardware, not just across the outside surfaces.
• Variable speed drives on the CRAC units are tied to temperature and pressure sensors in the cold rows and beneath the floor.
• Extra-large warm air returns on the CRAC units to create an even and efficient movement of warm air away from the racks.

Power Systems

Features of C7 Data Centers’ power systems include:

• A true A/B power delivery system throughout the data center.
• Physical separation for the A & B UPS and ATS systems enhancing the survival of either should a problem occur with one or the other.
• Dual substation feeds to multiple entry points in the building, with redundancy all the way to the first tier within the power grid.
• Over engineered power delivery for increasingly dense computing platforms.
• One of the least expensive cost per kWh of any area in the country.

Network and Internet Connection

Features of C7′s network / Internet connection include:

• Carrier neutral – we buy bandwidth from mulitple tier one carriers and deliver a blended solution to our customers.
• BGP best path routing. Packet routing is based in low latency and not the cheapest path for all traffic originating from our data centers.
• Failover redundancies for guaranteed network delivery.

Infrastructure and Fire Suppression

C7′s state of the art data center infrastructure and fire suppression includes:

• VESDA system for detecting a potential fire before flame or smoke.
• Dry-pipe fire suppression system.
• True grounding throughout the data center delivered to each cabinet.
• Building security, video surveillance, access badge and biometric entry systems.
• SSAE 16, HIPAA and PCI compliance for security and peace of mind.
• Power and bandwidth monitoring and usage history through our customer portal.
• Complimentary wifi, customer resource center and conference room.
