VirtualEdge Security
Data Storage
C7's data storage is directly attached to VirtualEdge, just like a data storage device is attached to a physical server (in a physical environment view they both look the same). The SAN space is shared but the space is assigned and allocated for each drive so that no one else can access it.
Networking
Our networking solution is secure behind firewalls and secure between VLANS. One VirtualEdge customer cannot access another customers VLANS. With VirtualEdge, you have your own internal network just like a physical environment. In addition, physical equipment (firewalls, servers, load balancers, switches, etc.) can be connected to the VirtualEdge environment as part of a mixed colocation and virtualization solution.
Resources (CPU, RAM)
CPU and RAM resources are assigned to each VirtualEdge server so that you can specify the processor speed, RAM and number of processors for each VirtualEdge server. With VirtualEdge you get the performance that you specify on a per server basis.
Physical Access
Only C7's technicians have access to any physical part of the VirtualEdge environment.
